Job Title : Senior Java Full Stack DeveloperDuration : Full TimeLocation : Montreal QCWork Mode : HybridNOTE : This is a 3 days On Site Job at Montreal CARATE : CAD $110K/YrPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and modern front-end technologies such as React or Angular, along with experience working in cloud-native environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot.Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js or Angular.Design reusable, maintainable, and high-performance application components.Work with relational and NoSQL databases and develop efficient SQL queries.Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.Develop secure applications using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and related security standards.Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests using JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent frameworks.Required Skills7+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+; Java 21 experience is an advantage.Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data, and Spring Security.Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.Strong front-end development experience with React.js or Angular.Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and data structures.Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, or similar tools.Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
