The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar,Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!You will direct activities of the tMart supply chain (DC + Transp) function within the groupincorporating strategic initiatives as well as tactical and operational functions. To manage creationand effective execution of all projects.Defining best practices, strategies, standard operating procedures, and policies throughoutthe logistics, in coordination with local managersTraining all personnel, in all countries on the developed SOPs, strategies and policiesMonitoring and ensuring that the implementation of standardization of best practices,processes and procedures is carried out in coordination with local managersSetting performance measures and key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring regularmonitoring and improvement of performance gapsManaging/coordinating special projects (such as freight bidding, establishing an RDC, etc.)Completing process analysis, identifying, and recommending improvement opportunitiesDeveloping logistics network and ensuring continuous monitoring of network in terms of costand efficiencyEnsuring cross functional coordination between logistics units and other divisionsWorking on streamlining and reengineering the business processes through mapping thecurrent processes, pinpointing non-value-add activities, and standardizing the newoptimized processes in an SOWorking on developing the Logistics team through ensuring continuous training programsOverseeing the strategic planning process, including long-term expansion plans and supplychain network designOverseeing all the supply chain tactical and operational functions and ensuring they run assmoothly and efficiently as possibleOverseeing all special projects for tMart, including establishing new warehouses, invitingfreight forwarders for biddings and designing the supply chain networkOverseeing the regional supply chain architecture designQualificationsYou will have experience in Logistics and supply chain, with minimum 6 years’ experience at amanagerial levelUniversity Graduate degree in Engineering (Business, Systems Engineering) or other relatedfield + Master’s DegreeYou are very detail-oriented, structured and know how to prioritize -- you consider yourselfas someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved.You are a strong leader and passionate abut developing others.You can interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiplestakeholders.You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job.You have excellent analytical and communication skills, and always like to be hands-on withseveral tools.Language skills: Fluent English and Arabic would be highly advantageous.
