About the RoleOur client, a leader in the payments and financial services industry, is seeking a Governance & Controls Senior Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. Reporting to a regional leader based in Dubai, this role will play a critical part in strengthening governance frameworks, driving compliance excellence, and ensuring effective controls across key business activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong governance expertise, audit and controls experience, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.Contract Duration: 12 MonthsSeniority Level: Senior ManagerAbout the RequirementsLead governance reviews, compliance validations, and control assessments across business initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate policies and approval requirements.Drive closure of audit findings and remediation actions while identifying opportunities to strengthen governance, controls, and operational discipline.Manage pre-contracting and post-contracting compliance reviews, ensuring documentation integrity, audit readiness, and adherence to established policies.Maintain oversight of governance activities, funding utilization, approval pipelines, and risk indicators, providing actionable insights to leadership teams.Develop governance reporting that highlights risks, exceptions, remediation progress, and overall control effectiveness while serving as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.About YouProven experience in governance, internal controls, compliance, audit, risk management, or related disciplines, ideally within financial services, consulting, or multinational environments.Strong background in policy implementation, governance reviews, control monitoring, audit remediation, and executive-level reporting; Big Four consulting experience is highly advantageous.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluency in Arabic and strong English language capabilities preferred.Job Scams NoticeYour Safety and Data Security Matter to Us.Manpower Middle East is committed to a safe and transparent hiring process.
