Company DescriptionCompany has over 100 years of industry experience!Specializes in custom metal products for multiple markets!Position is open due to company expansion!Job DescriptionManage and maintain optimal inventory levels across all locations to ensure uninterrupted operationsOversee purchasing of MRO supplies including PPE, safety equipment, CAPEX items, freight, and packaging materialsLead pricing negotiations and drive cost-saving initiatives to maximize valueConduct vendor evaluations and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliabilityUtilize ERP systems (Sage 300) and Excel to set up, track, and manage purchase ordersKey RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing MRO and consumable materialsBS in Supply Chain Management preferredDemonstrated experience with packaging supplies procurement and freight negotiationCAPEX purchasing experience is a strong plus
