Hardware for single use totes, mixers, chromatography, filtration, viral inactivation, Inline buffer manufacturing systems High-containment systems for ADCs, Gene Therapy, and HPAPIs Business partner for leading bioprocess solutions We are committed to advancing global biomanufacturing efficiency and strengthening India’s role in the international pharma landscape.About the RoleThe Sr. Procurement Specialist/Manager will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory management to ensure the organization meets its operational needs efficiently.Responsibilities Procurement of Materials and Services: Identify and evaluate suppliers based on the quality, price, and delivery time of products.Issue purchase orders based on business needs and inventory levels.Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials and services to meet organizational requirements. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating better rates and payment terms.Assess the performance of suppliers and ensure adherence to contract terms.Resolve any issues with suppliers related to quality, delivery, or payment.New supplier development and qualification. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.Work with the inventory team to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.Coordinate with warehouse department for the timely receipt and inspection of purchased items. Purchase Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for all purchase activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal requirements. Cost Control: Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.Ensure that purchased materials are within the allocated budget. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, product prices, and new suppliers in order to make informed purchasing decisions.Conduct regular research to find potential suppliers or alternative products that may be more cost-effective. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis for management review.Keep management informed about potential risks, such as delays in deliveries or price hikes. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, accounts, and production, to ensure smooth workflow and meet business needs.Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and forecast future procurement needs.QualificationsEducation: Masters Degree / MBARequired Skills10+ Years of experience in procurement and supplier management.Preferred SkillsExperience in biopharma or related industries is a plus.We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
