About Masdr:Masdr provides integrated digital data and business solutions to public and private sector organizations, enabling operational efficiency, enhanced customer experience, data-driven decision-making, and compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements through advanced digital technologies and enterprise platforms.Job Purpose:Design, build, and operate product capabilities by developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable engineering solutions that support product delivery and user needs in alignment with Masdr’s standards.AccountabilitiesGeneric Accountabilities:People ManagementOrganize and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.Provide guidance on the job training for junior colleagues and conduct knowledge sharing to facilitate achievement of team objectives and completion of tasks in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.Budgeting and Financial PerformanceMonitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances to management.Policies, Systems, Processes & ProceduresProvide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedures for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.Change ManagementParticipate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.ReportingPrepare required statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Masdr’s and department requirements, policies and quality standards.Job-Specific Accountabilities:Lead the design, development, and delivery of product features, owning quality, reliability, and timelines end to endBuild scalable and reliable backend/frontend components Collaborate with product, QA, Solution Architect, and design teams steering technical decisions to meet business outcomesDefine and enforce code quality, performance, and maintainability standards across the teamSupport testing, debugging, and issue resolution Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions Own alignment with engineering standards, security, and best practicesLead deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement, and proactively identifying and mitigating riskParticipate in sprint planning and backlog refinement shaping priorities and surfacing architectural risk to inform delivery decisionsMentor mid-level and junior engineers, elevating team capability and engineering maturityJob Requirements:Minimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field requiredExperienceMinimum 4-5 years of experience in software or product engineering, with a strong focus on application development, system design, APIs, and delivering scalable product solutions.Join us and let's shape the future together!
