Senior Software EngineerOverviewA growing financial technology organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team responsible for mission-critical transaction and trading systems.This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing highly available software platforms that support complex business processes in a fast-paced financial environment.The ideal candidate is a proven engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, building scalable systems, and supporting business-critical applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop backend services using JavaBuild and maintain REST and gRPC APIsSupport high-performance transaction-processing systemsCollaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design scalable solutionsContribute across the full software development lifecycleParticipate in architecture, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance effortsImprove reliability, scalability, and performance of existing systemsSupport integration and data-processing workflowsRequired Qualifications8+ years of software engineering experienceStrong Java development experienceExperience building backend APIs and distributed systemsStrong SQL/database skillsExperience delivering production-grade softwareStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to operate in business-critical environmentsPreferred QualificationsFinancial services or fintech experienceAsset management experienceTrading platform experienceOrder management systemsTypeScriptOCI, AWS, or AzureExperience supporting transaction-intensive applicationsCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $140,000 - 150,000 annuallyBonus: Eligible to earn a ~5% bonus
