Value for our customers.What you’ll do:Design comprehensive technical solutions that address complex business challenges and identify architectural improvements across multiple technology domainsEvaluate and optimize solution architectures to improve performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of technology implementationsCollaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and development teams to architect integrated solutions, including cloud-native applications and microservices-based solutions, while providing technical leadership and implementation guidance.Support business development and account growth by contributing solution architecture expertise to pipeline development and strategic planning initiativesParticipate in strategic planning sessions focused on solution portfolio expansion and enterprise growth objectivesProvide solution architecture guidance and technical advisory services to ensure secure, compliant, and well-integrated technology implementationsEngage directly with senior government executives to present solution architectures, provide technical consultation, and serve as a trusted advisor on complex technology initiativesWhat you’ll need to succeed:Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability clearance.Must reside within commuting distance of the customer site in Washington, DC.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.AWS Solutions Architect Certification - Associate or Professional (Preferred or ability to obtain).10+ years of experience in software development, DevSecOps, AI/ML engineering, and technical architecture, including 3 years designing and deploying enterprise cloud applications with AI/ML on AWS.Strong solution architecture experience with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable application architectures, guide cross-functional teams through implementation, and lead the design of new enterprise applications.Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise search and analytics solutions using Amazon OpenSearch and/or the Elastic Stack, including indexing strategies, search performance tuning, data ingestion pipelines, and security best practices.Hands-on experience architecting unified analytics platforms using Databricks for large-scale data processing, machine learning workflows, and collaborative data science initiatives.A background in software development with proficiency in solution architecture patterns including microservices and event-driven architectures, with the ability to provide guidance on architecture pattern selection and best practices.Experience leading application modernization initiatives, including decomposition of monolithic systems, legacy platform decommissioning, and migration to service-oriented or microservices architectures.Experience designing and implementing real-time data streaming architectures using Apache Kafka or other types of message brokers for high-throughput, fault-tolerant event processing and data pipeline integration.Experience architecting search and analytics solutions using the Elastic stack and/or Amazon OpenSearch.SALARY RANGE: $175,000 - $265,000The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
