Applicants can expect to join a company committed to maintaining high standards of service and integrity in international education consulting.Role Description The Sr. Student Counselor (New Zealand) will provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students interested in studying in New Zealand, from initial consultation through admission and visa processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing educational backgrounds, advising on suitable institutions and programs, explaining application requirements, and supporting students with documentation and timelines. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with partner institutions, conducting information sessions, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The counselor will also keep up-to-date with New Zealand education policies, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities to provide accurate information. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Banani.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Student Counseling skills, including the ability to guide learners through course, institution, and destination selection.Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students align academic choices with long-term career goals.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly explain processes and requirements.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain positive relationships with students and families.Candidates should possess a good understanding of Education systems, preferably with knowledge of New Zealand higher education and admission procedures.Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Education, Counseling, Business, or related field) and prior experience in overseas education counseling or student recruitment.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling applications and documentation.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a professional, inclusive, and ethical approach to student guidance.
