Sr Supply Chain Operations Manager

Our On-Demand Talent Solutions team excited to announce that we are hiring a Senior Manager, Operations and Supply Chain on behalf of our client. Our client develops and supplies high-quality, innovative tools, reagents, and diagnostic products that empower researchers and clinicians to achieve reproducible results, ultimately accelerating, cell and gene therapy, and medical breakthroughs.Summary: The Senior Manager of Operations and Supply Chain will build systems, processes, and operating cadence, and deliver measurable improvement in service, inventory health, supplier reliability, and execution consistency.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operational site performance, including OTD, backlog, inventory health, supplier reliability, and execution stability. Think strategically about what the site needs to succeed and translate that into executable action.Lead planning and replenishment execution at the site level, including replenishment accuracy, lead time adherence, backlog reduction, and stock availability. Build or strengthen planning processes and ensure demand signals translate into reliable, executable supply and inventory plans.Drive inventory accuracy, turns, stockouts, and excess/obsolescence reduction. Build inventory controls, cycle count discipline, and accountability across both core SKUs and long-tail items.Own supplier execution performance, including on-time delivery, lead time reliability, and responsiveness. Establish clear expectations, escalation paths, and corrective action processes to improve supplier performance and execution reliability.Lead warehouse, shipping, and receiving excellence, with accountability for receiving timeliness, pick/pack accuracy, throughput, material flow, labor utilization, standard work, and quality and regulatory compliance.Establish a disciplined operating cadence, metrics, and visual management across OTD, supplier OTD, inventory accuracy, turns, stockouts, backlog, and lead time. Lead continuous improvement efforts to hard-wire better processes, standards, and accountability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field required.8+ years of operations/supply chain leadership, including 5+ years leading complex, execution-heavy teams.Proven success building high-accountability teams, strengthening processes, stabilizing operations, and driving continuous improvement.Strong ERP, data, Lean, and operational problem-solving skills; buy/sell, distribution, or life sciences experience strongly preferred.
