Sr. Technical Lead

We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Technical Lead to join our Business Insights and Analytics team at Manulife Global Solutions. In this role, you are expected to collaborate closely to the business and project teams in order to transform data into insights, to recommend appropriate visualizations and reporting solutions, and to build a high-performing team of data analytics professionals.Position Responsibilities: Partner with business stakeholders, senior leaders, and other data professionals to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions.Lead the collection, validation and reporting of KPIs and metrics for various forums including monthly operational reporting for senior leadership.Develop and maintain team documentation when solutioning for data and workflow improvement projects.Partner with multi-functional teams to promote self-serve reporting and enable citizen developers through consultation and knowledge transfer.Implement automation and workflow improvement solutions via Microsoft Power Platform tools to assist in the overall team mandate of operationalizing data decision making tools via Power BI.Stay up-to-date with data and business analysis standard methodologies and emerging trends in data-decision-making-tool development/design.Required Qualifications:6+ years of progressive experience providing operations support in an analyst capacity.Advanced proficiency in SQL and Azure Databricks, PowerBI, data modelling, and working with relational databases in enterprise cloud environments. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and deliver actionable insights.Note: All candidates will have their communication, critical thinking, and technical skills subjected to testing during the hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications
