Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Irving, Texas (In-Office)Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Irving to add a Staff Accountant to their Accounting team.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build strong hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment and gain exposure to the financial operations of a manufacturing business.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and post journal entries and account reconciliationsMaintain general ledger accounts and investigate discrepanciesAssist with balance sheet and bank reconciliationsSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable as neededAssist with inventory and cost accounting-related activitiesPrepare schedules and documentation for internal and external auditsHelp with financial reporting and variance analysisMaintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentationPartner with members of the accounting and operations teamsAssist with special projects and process improvements as the company continues to grow

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting1+ years of accounting experience is requiredUnderstanding of GAAP and basic accounting principlesStrong Excel skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentManufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
