We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.ResponsibilitiesPrepare consolidated financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departmentsHandle day-to-day accounting activities including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end closingsPerform full-cycle bookkeeping including monthly accounting, reports, bank reconciliation, month end closingDevelop and analyze financial reports using advanced spreadsheet tools to verify financial dataPrepare general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial recordsAnalyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying informationPrepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accountsAssist in the preparation and completion of financial statements and tax returns for compilation engagementsEvaluate internal accounting procedures and recommend process improvementsSupport monthly and quarterly close processesMaintain strict confidentiality and safeguard company financial informationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation or active CPA candidate strongly preferredMinimum 3 years of professional experience in Finance and AccountingMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday (preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quicklyPrevious experience with QuickBooks and Sage 300 will be an assetAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS OutlookAbility to process large volume of invoices and payments, while prioritizing competing tasksStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting prioritiesBenefitsCompetitive SalaryHealthcare Benefit Package Career Growth
