Staff Accountant

We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role supports the month-end close process, maintains accurate financial records, and partners with the accounting team on reconciliations, reporting, and audit support. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare and post accruals, including payroll, freight, and operating expense accrualsReconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactionsAssist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reportsTrack and reconcile fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation schedulesSupport budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling and analyzing dataAssist with internal and external audit requests by gathering supporting documentationEnsure transactions are properly coded and recorded in the ERP systemIdentify and correct discrepancies in financial recordsSupport ad hoc reporting and special projects as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2-4 years of accounting experience with direct involvement in month-end closingWorking knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accrualsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, QAD, or similar) preferredProficient in ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
