Staff Accountant

CV Resources is partnering with an established consumer goods company in Costa Mesa, CA in search of a Staff Accountant to join their team. The right candidate will enjoy a smaller-company environment where they are accountable, dependable, and willing to jump in where needed.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day accounting and month-end close activitiesPerform journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger accountingAssist with maintaining accurate financial information within QuickBooksHelp troubleshoot and improve accounting processes and system integrationsSupport accounting for inventory and product-related transactionsAssist with subledger reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesPerform hands-on accounting and data entry as neededIdentify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline accounting processesServe as a resource to the Staff Accountant and help strengthen the overall accounting functionWork cross-functionally with employees throughout the organizationTake on additional accounting and operational responsibilities in a lean, entrepreneurial environmentQualifications2-3 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong QuickBooks experienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting
