Staff Accountant

A leading, multi‑location organization is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑driven Staff Accountant to support robust financial operations across a high‑volume, service‑focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, understands the nuances of hospitality financials, and brings accuracy, ownership, and analytical strength to daily accounting activities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month‑end adjustmentsPerform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliationsSupport multi‑unit P&L preparation, variance analysis, and financial reportingAssist with AP/AR processing, vendor management, and payment cyclesMaintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controlsSupport audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliationsMonitor cash flow activity and support treasury functions as neededPartner with operations leaders to resolve discrepancies and improve financial accuracyAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking across multiple locationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-3 years of accounting experience; hospitality, restaurant, or multi‑unit experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingProficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and accounting/ERP systemsExperience with high‑volume cash environmentsStrong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetPreferred SkillsExperience with ERP SoftwareMulti‑entity or multi‑location accounting experienceStrong problem‑solving abilities and process‑improvement mindset
