Staff Accountant

A private aviation company specializing in on-demand private jet charter services is adding to its team. The organization is known for its focus on safety, education, and flexible pricing, coordinating flights to destinations nationwide while maintaining a high standard of client service.They’re in significant startup-style growth mode and are looking for a Staff Accountant who brings strong accounting fundamentals and strong communication skills.Why this role / growth story:Current accounting team: CFO + Staff Accountant (current Staff Accountant is retiring)15 franchises today with plans to add 5 more by year-endRevenue: $19.9M (2025) → projected $28M (2026) (~45% growth), with similar growth expected in 2027Opportunity to grow with the company as the department expandsWhat you’ll do:Day-to-day journal entriesBank, GL, and account reconciliationsAR/AP reconciliations as neededReconcile franchise payments and other operational activityHeavy use of QuickBooks (required)Use Accounting Seed (Salesforce) in support of reporting / financial statement processesPartner with an outside CPA firm supporting month-end close and financial statementsWhat we’re looking for:1+ accounting experience (ideal 3–5 years)Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detailPeople skills are key—customer service mindset and comfort working with franchise owners and customersThis is not a typical “back office bean counter” role; communication and follow-through matterComp/Perks:$70,000–$80,000 base401(k) with matchPerformance bonus potential (no set structure)Benefits are not in place yet, but are being actively worked on as the company scales
