With ambitious goals for 2026 and beyond, we are looking for a Staff Front-End Engineer to lead the evolution of our frontend architecture and engineering standards as our product and engineering teams scale. You'll have the opportunity to shape the frontend foundations of an AI-native product while remaining deeply involved in building and shipping it.What you will be buildingYou will work closely with the founders, product, design and engineering teams to design, build and scale the core platform. This is a hands-on Staff Engineer role. You will own the frontend architecture and lead its technical direction, establishing the patterns and engineering standards that enable the team to build and ship consistently as we scale.You will:Design, build and ship high-quality frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, taking ownership from technical design through to production.Partner with product and design to turn complex workflows into intuitive, polished user experiences, with a strong focus on visual consistency, usability and interaction design.Build and evolve reusable components, design-system foundations and shared frontend tooling that improve consistency, reduce duplication and accelerate product development.Build AI-powered features across leasing, rent reconciliation, maintenance, compliance and finance.Collaborate with backend engineers to shape API contracts, while defining frontend data-fetching and state-management patterns that deliver reliable, responsive experiences.Drive frontend quality across performance, accessibility, testing and maintainability, balancing technical excellence with the pace of an early-stage startup.Mentor engineers through technical design, code reviews and knowledge sharing, raising frontend engineering standards across the team.We do not expect you to be familiar with all the tools we use. What matters is your curiosity and ability to learn fast.We move fast, cut scope ruthlessly, and ship value daily via feature flags.What you'll bring10+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on frontend expertise, ideally in a startup or scale-up.Extensive experience building and scaling production React applications using TypeScript.Proven experience architecting complex frontend applications, with sound judgement around component boundaries, client-side state management, server-state management, caching and invalidation.Experience designing and implementing frontend deployment architectures, with a strong understanding of CI/CD, release strategies and production monitoring.Strong visual design sense and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate closely with designers to deliver polished, intuitive interfaces and excellent user experiences.Experience designing reusable component architectures and design systems, with strong knowledge of modern CSS architecture and utility-first frameworks.Experience diagnosing and optimising frontend performance, with strong engineering practices across responsive design, accessibility and testing, balanced with pragmatic delivery.Experience leading technical initiatives, establishing engineering standards and mentoring engineers through architectural decisions, code reviews and knowledge sharing.Product-mindedness: you understand the problem you're solving, who you're solving it for and how your decisions affect the end-to-end user experience.AI-native thinking: excited about building AI-powered products and using AI tools practically throughout the engineering lifecycle.High agency and strong communication: you take ownership, make pragmatic technical trade-offs and collaborate effectively with product, design and engineering teams in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.Nice to have:Ability to independently design polished user interfaces, with examples of previous work demonstrating visual quality and attention to detail.Experience building user-facing AI products, particularly interfaces for intelligent or agentic workflows.Experience building complex B2B SaaS applications, internal tools or workflow-driven products.Experience in property management, proptech or related industries.What you will getFounding-level equityHighly competitive salary depending on location and experienceWork from anywhere35 days paid leave (incl.
