Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Node/NestJs) - Logistics & Payments

We will be the first to take the global market with blockchain-verified passports, escrow-secured trades, GCC-anchored (Saudi based startup) with complete end-to-end infrastructure integration. This is a founding technical leadership role, reporting directly to the CTO. We do have an office in Dhaka if you need a working space (https://ambalait.com/ & https://girmairi.com/)This is a full-time positionUnlimited PTOsCompensation: full-time range is 150,000 BDT - 300,000 BDT depending on your skills and experience level. BD time evening is when most of our meetings happens (your work hours should be that time). Our working days are from Saturday - Wednesday (core hours are in the afternoon/evening BD time).What you have (required):You have either payment or logistics expertise and deep understanding of issues around those domains. You help build a startup handling those situations in large scale or you are currently working in a company where you are leading in those domains. We are not looking for generalists. 12+ years of production engineering, with the last 6+ in a senior or lead capacity where you owned an application layer at a real company (not your own project). But you have always been hands on, not just managing.Deep NestJS Node expertise: understanding DDD in deeper level, guards, interceptors, event-driven patternsExtremely good at architectural judgement without over complicating.Ruthless in code review: you have OCD in making sure everything is correctAI native setup: You have worked when you had to painfully write code and debug line by line and now you have an AI heavy setup where you can operate to your fullest (not use it as a crutch)BSc in computer science from a top university in your countryWho you are:You set engineering standards, not lower them.You obsess over writing good but lean test cases.Your code review takes time (line by line - not just "looks good")You own what you ship and approve; regardless how you code - you take responsibility.You make and defend decisions, not just go with the flow of everyone. You disagree with the team and the CTO sometimes on technical level and bring your own opinion.You are ethical, have high morals, responsible, respectful of your team-members.Things to keep in mind:We are building a small, competent and agile team. This is not the place where we will be happy with our subpar work. You deeply understand and care about the quality of the work you produce.We are well-funded GCC startup (Saudi based). We will operate with light deadlines. Plus points if you have worked in a early stage startup before.There is no long onboarding, be prepared to hit the ground running.
