Position SummaryThis position is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, including month-end closings, financial reporting, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.This is an in-office position at our Park Ridge, NJ office, not a remote position.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryBonus opportunityMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) savings planPaid personal daysPaid sick daysResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.Prepare bank reconciliations and supporting schedules.Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.Prepare accurate, reliable, and timely financial reports.Analyze variances in income statement and balance sheet accounts and identify significant trends or discrepancies.Monitor revenue and expenses to help confirm financial performance and status.Coordinate the consolidation and evaluation of financial data.Prepare special reports and financial analyses for management as requested.Assist with the assessment and implementation of internal controls, including risk identification, mitigation, and prevention.Support internal and external audit functions, including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.Handle special assignments and ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.Perform other accounting and financial responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsStrong general accounting and account reconciliation skills.Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with financial data and spreadsheets.Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to calculate figures, amounts, percentages, and financial metrics.Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and company information.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.Resourceful, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify and troubleshoot discrepancies.Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities and a strong sense of urgency.CONTACT DANIELLE TODAYDanielle Concolino HR Director Phone: 201-529-1401 ext. 313 Email: DConcolino@NWECorp.com
