What You’ll Be DoingBuild and scale backend services and APIs for a document-focused platformWrite performant server-side code and data pipelinesDefine API contracts and contribute to system designDevelop reusable API primitives to accelerate feature deliveryIntegrate with third-party tools and internal ML systemsSupport frontend work to ship end-to-end featuresOptimize performance across data-heavy systemsOwn code quality, scalability, and developer experience (CI/CD, tooling)Required Qualifications8+ years of full stack experience with a backend focusProficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go and API designStrong fundamentals in REST, data modeling, and databases (SQL/NoSQL)Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)Familiarity with TypeScript and ReactSolid understanding of distributed systems and web fundamentalsStrong communication and execution-driven mindsetPreferred QualificationsExperience with microservices and message queuesBackground in data pipelines or large-scale systemsFamiliarity with CI/CD and production environmentsExperience optimizing performance in data-intensive systemsComfort in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
