They are currently seeking a high-level Staff iOS Engineer to drive the technical evolution of their cryptocurrency and digital wallet initiatives.In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture and delivery of high-stakes product experiences involving bitcoin, stablecoins, and self-custody solutions. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will prototype new concepts, write production-ready code, and manage complex cross-functional dependencies between client apps and backend services.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and scale native iOS features for digital wallets and decentralized finance products.Direct the technical roadmap for key product areas, balancing security and reliability with rapid delivery.Create reference implementations and prototypes to validate new architectural directions.Actively utilize and evaluate AI-assisted development tools to increase engineering efficiency.Mentor other engineers through design reviews and technical standards setting.Partner with product and design teams to translate complex financial workflows into seamless user journeys.Contribute to open-source projects that benefit the broader digital currency ecosystem.RequirementsOver 12 years of professional software development experience.Minimum of 4 years dedicated to native iOS development using Swift and modern Apple frameworks.Proven track record of building and maintaining foundational systems or shared libraries used by large teams.History of leading strategic technical initiatives from conception through to wide-scale adoption.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills and ExperienceExperience with large-scale modular iOS applications, including UIKit and Objective-C.Background in high-trust environments such as fintech or digital commerce.Familiarity with build systems like Bazel, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile performance optimization.Knowledge of bitcoin, stablecoin technology, and non-custodial wallet architecture.Experience with A/B testing, feature flags, and global product rollouts.Technology StackSwift, SwiftUI, and UIKitSwift Concurrency and CombineXcode and InstrumentsBazel and Protocol BuffersAI-assisted coding toolsUnit and UI testing frameworksCompensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position is competitive and generally ranges from 263,600 to 395,400 USD depending on experience and location.
