"Released time" is the single greatest missed opportunity of the church in America to reach the next generation with the Gospel — and we are looking for a visionary pioneer to lead this charge across Alabama.If someone handed you a check for a million dollars and asked you to make sure it did what it was supposed to do, would they be right to trust you? That's basically the bar for this role.There's a state board already in place that you'll work alongside, but the on the ground relationships and the donor network across Alabama are yours to build.Day to day that looks like meeting with pastors, business leaders, and community groups, introducing people to the idea and building local support one relationship at a time. Then turning around and asking a room of high net worth donors, or a company's leadership team, to actually fund it. Some of that is hosting events. Some of it is a coffee meeting that turns into a multi year commitment.You're not doing it with nothing though. You'll have Salesforce, real media production support, and a peer group of state directors across the country doing the same work, including a call every Friday where the whole team gets together.Some people who take this are leaving a bigger paycheck somewhere else.
