In this role, the staff member will assist customers in selecting stationery and gift items, provide product information, and ensure a welcoming store environment. Daily tasks include stocking shelves, organizing displays, managing inventory, and handling point-of-sale transactions accurately. The role also involves processing orders for custom and corporate merchandise, coordinating with the back office for branding requests, and maintaining clean and orderly shop areas. The Stationery Shop Staff will support basic administrative tasks, follow store policies, and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations.Qualifications Customer service and communication skills to assist shoppers, answer inquiries, and provide a positive in-store experience.Basic sales and retail skills, including cash handling, POS operation, and upselling relevant products.Organizational and time management skills to manage stock, arrange displays, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.Attention to detail and accuracy for inventory checks, order processing, and product labeling.Ability to learn product ranges, customization options, and branding requirements to guide customers effectively.Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborating with colleagues and management.Prior experience in retail, stationery, gifts, or merchandising is an advantage but not mandatory.Basic computer skills and familiarity with office or retail software are beneficial.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or customer service is a plus.
