Please note this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for an upcoming project.By applying, you confirm your interest in being considered, and you consent to your CV being shared with the client as part of a bid process.Expression of Interest: StatisticianWe are seeking expressions of interest from qualified Statisticians to support an upcoming national-scale survey and data analytics project in the education sector.The project is expected to involve large-scale stakeholder feedback, survey data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting to support quality improvement and evidence-based decision-making across the higher education ecosystem.The role will support work involving multiple stakeholder groups and will require strong statistical methodology, data quality assurance, and clear analytical outputs.Role OverviewThe Statistician will provide technical expertise in sampling, weighting, and statistical estimation methodology, supporting the design, validation, analysis, and interpretation of survey data.This role will contribute to ensuring that survey outputs are statistically sound, representative, reliable, and suitable for institutional and national-level reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review sampling approaches for large-scale survey populations.Apply appropriate weighting and statistical estimation methods.Support quantitative analysis of survey results, including indicators, percentages, trends, and comparative insights.Contribute to data cleaning, validation, completeness checks, and quality assurance.Support the preparation of statistical outputs, charts, tables, and methodology documentation.Ensure analysis is transparent, reviewable, and aligned with reporting requirements.Support institutional and national-level reporting outputs.Required QualificationsCandidates should hold a Master’s or PhD in one of the following fields:Statistical SciencesApplied StatisticsMathematical StatisticsData ScienceQuantitative and Qualitative AnalysisOperations ResearchComputer ScienceMathematicsOr a related fieldRequired Experience and ExpertiseCandidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally including:Sampling design and survey methodologyWeighting and statistical estimation techniquesQuantitative data analysisStatistical quality assuranceLarge-scale survey or research programsStatistical reporting and methodology documentationWorking with multidisciplinary teams on data-driven projectsExperience in education, social research, public sector programs, national surveys, or large stakeholder feedback initiatives would be an advantage.How to Express Interest?If you are interested in being considered for this upcoming opportunity, please submit your updated CV for review.Shortlisted profiles may be included as part of a client bid submission.
