About the RoleThe Statutory and Tax compliance role is responsible for statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance across multiple entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory requirements in the Middle-east region.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and file statutory financial statements and tax returns (CIT/VAT)Support statutory audits and tax authority reviews, acting as key liaison with auditorsEnsure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal controlsPerform tax and GAAP reconciliations (US GAAP to local GAAP)Forecast tax liabilities and support cash flow planningCollaborate with HQ finance, Corporate Tax, and global stakeholders and external service providersSupport business transitions, reorganisations, and ad hoc initiativesPrepare board reporting and financial performance presentationsDrive process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost controlPosition RequirementsMaintain compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory obligationsAct as a key interface for auditors, tax authorities, and finance teamsEnsure timely completion of filings, audits, and reportingMaintain accurate documentation and strong audit trailsIdentify and implement control improvements and cost efficienciesRequired skills, qualifications and experience7–10 years’ experience, including 5+ years in Big 4 audit (Middle East preferred)Strong IFRS and local GAAP expertiseExperience managing complex audits, tax filings, and internal controlsBackground in multinational, matrix organisationsExperience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP,)Strong analytical, organisational, and multitasking skillsAdvanced MS Office proficiencyFluent in English and Arabic (Written and Oral)Key AttributesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to simplify complex issues and influence at all levelsStrategic, detail-oriented, and solution-focusedProven ability to build effective relationships, and drive continuous improvementProactive, resourceful, and highly organisedBusiness EnvironmentLockheed Martin’s International Corporate and Enterprise Business Services (EBS) units, consists of Business Development, IT Services, Payroll, ESH, HR and Finance functions that support the business across the whole of the EMEA region.
