Statutory Financial Controller – Turkish SpeakerDubai, UAEAED 40,000 + medical + air ticketWe are looking for an experienced Statutory Financial Controller to oversee the company’s statutory accounting, reporting and Turkish tax compliance that will be based in Dubai.The role will have a particular focus on ensuring the business remains fully compliant with Turkish tax legislation and statutory requirements, working closely with the local finance team, external tax advisors, auditors and Group Finance.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee Turkish statutory accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local requirementsTake ownership of Turkish tax compliance, including Corporate Tax, VAT, withholding tax and other applicable taxesMonitor changes in Turkish tax legislation and advise the business on potential impacts Manage relationships with Turkish tax advisors, auditors and relevant authorities, including tax audits and enquiriesReview tax calculations, provisions, reconciliations and statutory filingsOversee the Turkish month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations, provisions, accruals and intercompany accounting Ensure alignment between Turkish statutory accounts and Group/IFRS reportingSupport transfer pricing compliance and documentationProvide financial control and technical accounting guidance to the local Turkish finance teamStrengthen financial controls, processes and reporting across the Turkish entity Partner with Dubai-based Regional/Group Finance and other stakeholders on Turkish financial and tax mattersKey Requirements7–10+ years' experience in financial control, statutory accounting, tax or financial reporting, ideally within a multinational environmentStrong hands-on experience with Turkish tax legislation and compliance is essentialStrong knowledge of Turkish statutory accounting and reporting requirementsProven experience managing Turkish tax filings, audits and tax advisorsExperience with Corporate Tax, VAT, withholding tax and transfer pricingStrong understanding of IFRS and Group reportingExperience working with external auditors and managing statutory reporting processesERP experience, ideally SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similarProfessional accounting qualification preferred Fluent Turkish and English are essentialDubai/UAE-based candidates with direct Turkish tax experience are particularly relevant
