Science Xplorers aims to create a supportive environment where learners can explore, experiment, and develop a lasting interest in scientific discovery.Role Description The STEAM Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for delivering engaging STEAM lessons and workshops to students of various ages. This role includes planning and facilitating hands-on activities and experiments, integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into cohesive learning experiences. The STEAM Expert will develop lesson plans and project-based modules, adapt content to different learning levels, and maintain a safe, organized classroom or lab environment. Day-to-day responsibilities also include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, collaborating with other educators, and supporting the design and improvement of new STEAM programs and materials.Qualifications Strong knowledge of STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and ability to integrate them into interactive lessons.Experience designing and facilitating hands-on experiments, projects, and activities in an educational or training setting.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, age-appropriate language.Demonstrated classroom or workshop management skills and commitment to creating an inclusive, safe learning environment.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field; teaching certification or training experience is an advantage.Comfort with basic educational technology and tools used for STEAM learning (e.g., simple coding platforms, robotics kits, lab equipment).Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, and deliver multiple sessions or programs.Enthusiasm for working with children and young learners, and a passion for fostering curiosity and creativity.Prior experience in STEM/STEAM programs, after-school activities, camps, or educational centers is preferred.
