Steel Fixer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Steel Fixer role based for a Dubai based construction company. The Steel Fixer will interpret construction drawings and specifications, cut and bend steel bars, and assemble reinforcement structures for concrete elements such as columns, beams, slabs, and foundations. Daily tasks include positioning and securing steel reinforcement using appropriate tying methods, operating relevant tools and equipment, and collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to ensure accurate installation. The role also involves adhering to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and reporting any hazards or material issues to site management.Need Steel Fixers needed for a Dubai Construction Company Salary - 1500 AED Basic Allowance - 700 AED Other Allowance - 600 AED Food Allowance - 200 AEDPlease apply on - skebplacement@gmail.comQualificationsCandidates should possess skills in working safely with power tools and related construction equipment.Candidates should possess skills in welding and handling iron and steel reinforcement materials.Candidates should possess skills in rigging and the safe movement and placement of heavy reinforcement components.Candidates should possess knowledge of fall protection practices and working safely at heights.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement schedules.Previous experience as a steel fixer or in a similar reinforcement/concrete construction role.Understanding of site safety regulations and willingness to follow company safety policies.Physical capability to perform demanding manual work, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.Good teamwork, communication, and reliability in meeting project timelines.Relevant vocational training or certification in construction or steel fixing is an advantage.
