⚙️ PROJECT MANAGERS: Do you like being the person who actually makes things happen?Not just updating schedules.Not just sitting in meetings.But owning a manufacturing project from the moment the order comes in until the finished product ships out the door?Our client is hiring a Stainless Steel Project Manager in Owosso.We're looking for someone who understands that successful project management in manufacturing happens just as much on the shop floor as it does behind a computer.🔥 WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?This is a role where you'll have real ownership and real visibility.You'll be the connection between:Customer → Engineering → Purchasing → Production → Quality → ShippingAnd you'll have the opportunity to see the projects you manage become actual fabricated products.You'll:🔹 Own stainless-steel fabrication projects from kickoff through final shipment🔹 Build and manage project schedules, milestones, material requirements, and priorities🔹 Work directly with customers throughout the project lifecycle🔹 Partner closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Shipping🔹 Help identify problems before they become missed deadlines🔹 Coordinate stainless-steel ductwork, fittings, transitions, elbows, dampers, and other fabricated components🔹 Influence production priorities and protect customer delivery commitments🔹 Develop strong, long-term customer relationshipsWHO WOULD THRIVE HERE?Someone who enjoys being at the center of the action.You're organized enough to manage multiple projects but technical enough to understand what is happening on the manufacturing floor.Ideally, you'll bring:✔️ 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a related industrial environment✔️ Stainless-steel or sheet-metal fabrication experience✔️ Working knowledge of welding, forming, rolling, and manufacturing processes✔️ The ability to read fabrication drawings, specifications, BOMs, and purchase orders✔️ Strong scheduling, problem-solving, and customer communication skills✔️ Experience with Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and AutoCADExperience with industrial stainless-steel ductwork, TIG welding, custom engineered-to-order manufacturing, or heavy industrial equipment is especially valuable.WHY CONSIDER THIS OPPORTUNITY?Because this isn't a project-management role where you're several layers removed from the work.You'll see it.
