This role involves designing and delivering STEM-focused training programs, workshops, and hands-on sessions for learners at various levels. The Stem Trainer prepares lesson plans, instructional materials, and project-based activities that align with current industry and academic standards. Typical responsibilities include demonstrating STEM concepts, guiding participants through practical exercises, assessing learning outcomes, and providing constructive feedback. The Stem Trainer collaborates with internal teams and external partners to refine curricula, integrate new technologies, and support hackathons, skill development initiatives, and outreach events.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong STEM knowledge in areas such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Candidates should possess skills in curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom or workshop facilitation for diverse learner groups.Candidates should possess practical skills in using STEM-related tools, software, and lab or maker-space equipment for hands-on training.Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate learners, and collaborate with academic and industry stakeholders.Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple batches, training schedules, and reporting requirements.Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field) is preferred.Prior experience in teaching, training, or facilitating STEM programs in academic, corporate, or edtech environments is an advantage.Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, demonstrate a growth mindset, and contribute to Teckybot’s culture of continuous learning.
