The Steward / Captain is responsible for welcoming guests, managing table settings, taking orders accurately, and ensuring timely service of food and beverages. The role includes coordinating with the kitchen and bar teams, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the service area, and ensuring adherence to brand standards. The Steward / Captain also handles guest queries or concerns, promotes menu items, and supports daily operations such as inventory checks, billing coordination, and shift handovers. Additionally, the role may involve guiding junior team members, assisting in on-the-job training, and contributing to consistent, high-quality guest experiences.Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including menu items, service standards, and basic F&B hygiene practices.Ability to support Training for junior staff and new joiners on service procedures and brand standards.Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service roles is preferred.Basic proficiency in English and local languages for effective guest communication.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Professional appearance, punctuality, and a customer-focused attitude.Minimum high school education; hospitality-related certifications or diplomas are an added advantage.
