Stock and Inventory AssociateToo Sweet Cakes — Phoenix, AZ (Wholesale/Production)Full-Time, Hourly, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMPosition SummaryThe Stock and Inventory Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory at our Phoenix production facility. This role ensures product and supplies are properly stored, rotated, and accounted for — keeping the warehouse and freezer running accurately and efficiently so production never stalls for lack of materials.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming inventory shipments, verify quantities against packing slips/POs, and inspect for damage or discrepanciesPut away inventory following FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation to minimize waste and spoilageMaintain freezer organization and cleanliness; monitor and log freezer temperatures/conditionsConduct monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile counts against system recordsFlag low-stock or par-level items to management; assist in placing Sysco orders as neededSupport development of par levels for key inventory items based on usage trendsOperate a pallet jack safely to move and stage productKeep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standardsCommunicate discrepancies, damaged goods, or vendor issues promptly to managementRequirementsPrior warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience preferredComfortable working in freezer/cold storage environmentsBasic math and record-keeping accuracy for counts and reconciliationAbility to safely operate a pallet jack (training provided if needed)Ability to lift up 50-75 lbs regularlyReliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independentlyFood safety/handling knowledge a plusPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingExtended periods working in cold/freezer conditionsAbility to push/pull loaded pallet jacksBenefitsFull-time position with consistent hoursBenefit eligible the 1st of the month after 60 days of FT employmentSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to work at a fast-growing bakery with high product standardsReady to Get Mixing?If you're excited to bring your inventory skills to Too Sweet Cakes, we'd love to hear from you!
