Stock Assurance Supervisor

The Stock Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and validating stock accuracy across warehouse and retail operations. This role ensures that physical and system stock align through periodic audits, investigations, and process improvements. The supervisor coordinates with warehouse, inventory control, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and uphold inventory integrity across the supply chain.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise periodic cycle counts, stock takes, and random audits across locationsInvestigate variances between physical and system stock and implement corrective actionsAnalyze trends in discrepancies and identify root causesCoordinate with warehouse, inventory, and store teams to ensure proper stock handlingSupport process improvements to minimize shrinkage, damage, and misplacementsEnsure stock reconciliation reports are submitted accurately and timelyMaintain audit readiness and compliance with internal inventory SOPsTrain and coach stock auditors or junior staff on procedures and best practicesCollaborate with finance for stock valuation and reporting accuracySupport physical inventory preparations during financial year-end auditsEducational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience4–6 years of experience in inventory, stock control, or audit rolesMinimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead roleExperience in retail or warehouse operations preferred
