Role DescriptionSupport daily stock control activities to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient stock management.Assist with receiving, checking, counting, labeling, storing, transferring, and issuing stock according to company procedures.Monitor stock levels, inventory movements, replenishment requirements, and stock availability.Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP, inventory management, or stock control systems.Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks and reconcile differences with system records.Investigate stock discrepancies, shortages, damaged items, and variances and report findings to the relevant team.Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Operations, and other departments regarding stock requirements and movements.Monitor slow-moving, excess, damaged, expired, or obsolete stock and provide relevant updates.Assist with stock transfers, adjustments, returns, and inventory reconciliation activities.Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, variance reports, and other management information as required.Ensure stock is properly organized, labeled, stored, and handled in accordance with operational and safety procedures.Support inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives to improve stock accuracy, availability, and control.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Good understanding of stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations, and basic supply chain processes.Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Familiarity with ERP, warehouse management, inventory management, or stock control systems is an advantage.Ability to perform physical stock counts and maintain accurate inventory documentation.Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with warehouse and cross-functional teams.Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple inventory activities and deadlines.Proactive, responsible, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
