Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Stock Control Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting accurate and efficient inventory management across the foundation’s projects and operations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring stock levels, updating inventory records, and performing regular physical inventory checks with local teams or partner organizations. The specialist will track incoming and outgoing materials, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with project managers to ensure stock availability for events, campaigns, and museum or research activities. This role also involves preparing basic inventory reports, supporting the implementation of inventory control procedures, and communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires consistent attention to detail, reliable documentation practices, and proactive collaboration in a remote setting.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Physical Inventory and Inventory Control to ensure accurate stock counts and verification.Candidates should possess solid Inventory Management skills to maintain records, monitor stock levels, and support replenishment planning.Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with teams and respond to internal and external inquiries.Relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain support is beneficial.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.Comfort with basic digital tools and inventory software; familiarity with ERP or database systems is an advantage.Previous experience in non-profit, cultural institutions, or the agri-food sector is a plus.
