Location: Riyadh / Saudi Arabia Experience: 6+ YearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Storage & Backup Engineer – Associate Manager to lead storage and backup operations across a large enterprise environment.

You will be responsible for managing SAN storage, backup infrastructure, disaster recovery activities, and ensuring high availability of critical business systems. The role also includes team leadership, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement of storage and backup services.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of storage and backup engineers.Manage and maintain enterprise storage platforms, including Dell EMC Unity, PowerMax, Isilon, and Data Domain.Administer Veritas NetBackup environments, including backup policies, monitoring, troubleshooting, restores, and reporting.Ensure backup jobs are completed successfully and meet SLA requirements.Manage storage provisioning, LUN creation, replication, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.Support disaster recovery initiatives, testing activities, and backup restoration validation.Monitor storage and backup infrastructure using tools such as SolarWinds and Dynatrace.Work closely with infrastructure, application, database, and network teams to support business services.Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and recovery plans.Participate in CAB meetings, governance reviews, and service improvement initiatives.Manage incidents, requests, changes, and asset records through ServiceNow.Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.Required Skills & Experience6+ years of experience in Storage and Backup Administration.Hands-on experience with Dell EMC Unity, PowerMax, Isilon, and Data Domain.Strong experience with Veritas NetBackup administration and troubleshooting.Knowledge of SAN, NAS, storage replication, and data protection technologies.Experience with Disaster Recovery planning and testing.Experience working in enterprise data center environments.Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead technical teams and drive operational excellence.Preferred QualificationsITIL v4 Foundation.Veritas NetBackup Certification.Dell EMC Storage Certifications.Zerto experience.VMware or Hyper-V administration experience.Azure and/or OCI exposure.Top 3 Skills RequiredVeritas NetBackup AdministrationDell EMC Storage (Unity, PowerMax, Data Domain, Isilon)Disaster Recovery & Backup Operations
