Today, it is recognized as Singapore’s Favourite Chocolate and a premium gifting brand offering a wide range of artisanal chocolate cakes, including the iconic Original All Chocolate Cake.Role Description The Store Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. In this role, the Store Assistant supports daily store operations, including assisting customers with product selection, handling point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring that displays and merchandise are well-presented and replenished. The Store Assistant maintains store cleanliness and hygiene, prepares and packs cakes and chocolate products for takeaway or gifting, and provides product information to help customers make informed choices. This role also involves coordinating with team members, supporting stock checks, and upholding Awfully Chocolate’s service standards and brand image.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact confidently and courteously with customers and team members.Candidates should possess Retail Sales skills and Organization Skills to manage transactions, product displays, and stock efficiently.Candidates should possess Training abilities to support onboarding of new team members and share product knowledge effectively.Candidates should ideally have prior experience in retail, F&B, or hospitality, with a customer-facing role being an advantage.Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.Candidates should have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and an interest in chocolate and desserts; basic cash handling or POS experience is beneficial.
