The manager analyzes performance data to identify improvement opportunities, collaborates with corporate teams, and supports business growth initiatives.Overall, the role centers on balancing customer experience, team performance, and operational efficiency to deliver sustained business success.Job Description:The Store General Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the overall store that is distinctly segmented into backstore Operations and Customer-Facing Sales Operations, ensuring the achievement of top-line and bottom-line results through operational excellence and sales performance.In the Backstore operations, the manager is responsible for driving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as waste reduction, shrinkage control, warehouse-to-floor cycle time optimization, and inventory accuracy.This includes overseeing goods receipt and tagging accuracy, ensuring on-time stocking, and maintaining compliance with planogram standards to guarantee smooth product flow and availability.The manager coordinates with supply chain teams to optimize stock levels, minimize inefficiencies, and meet operational goals while enforcing robust loss prevention measures.On the Customer-Facing Sales Operations side, the manager focuses on achieving KPIs like sales per section, customer satisfaction, bundling sales revenue, and customer retention.The role involves driving individual and team incentives, such as upselling, cross-selling, and increasing loyalty program sign-ups, while ensuring checkout efficiency for a seamless shopping experience.By implementing effective sales strategies, the manager ensures that customer-facing operations align with business objectives and deliver an exceptional shopping experience that fosters customer loyalty and repeat business.The Store Manager oversees staff performance across both segments, setting clear goals, conducting regular evaluations, and providing feedback to enhance team efficiency and productivity.They develop incentive programs tied to team and individual KPIs, motivating employees to exceed targets and contribute to the store's overall success.Additionally, the manager ensures compliance with safety, health, and operational standards while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.By monitoring metrics such as customer satisfaction, waste reduction, and sales growth, the Store Manager identifies opportunities for improvement, implements data-driven solutions, and aligns both operational and customer-facing activities with strategic business objectives.This integrated approach ensures sustained revenue growth, operational efficiency, and an exceptional customer experience.
