Job Description – Store PharmacistPosition: Store PharmacistReports To: ManagementKey ResponsibilitiesReceive pharmaceutical products and verify quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates, and physical condition.Ensure proper inward and outward entry of all stock.Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular physical stock counts.Ensure products are stored under the required temperature and storage conditions.Maintain daily temperature and humidity logs, where applicable.Monitor refrigerator/cold-chain temperatures and immediately report any temperature excursion.Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles for stock movement.Ensure expired, damaged, returned, or quarantined products are properly identified and segregated.Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the store.Ensure medicines are stored in their designated locations and are easily identifiable.Maintain basic store documentation, including:Inward / GRN recordsOutward / dispatch recordsTemperature logsStock registersReturn / damage recordsExpiry recordsFollow approved company SOPs and Good Storage Practices (GSP).Ensure no unauthorized person has access to the pharmaceutical store.Assist during internal, customer, or regulatory inspections by providing required store records.Report stock discrepancies, damaged products, temperature excursions, and other irregularities to management immediately.Perform any other store-related duties assigned by management.Basic RequirementsQualification: Pharm-D / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.Valid pharmacist registration with the relevant authority.Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical storage and handling requirements.Basic computer and record-keeping skills.Good attention to detail and responsibility in handling pharmaceutical products.
