Store Supervisor

Primary Purpose:Ensure the smooth daily operation of a retail store, acting as the link between management and staff to achieve sales goals, maintain high customer satisfaction, and oversee staff, inventory, and store standards.Key Accountabilities: Oversee and manage the daily functioning of the store, including opening and closing procedures and ensuring adherence to company policies.Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.Ensure all customers receive excellent service and handle complaints, inquiries, and issues professionally.Monitor stock levels, order new products, process shipments, conduct stock counts, and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stockouts and losses.Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing with proper displays and signage.Prepare work schedules and delegate tasks to team members to ensure proper coverage and productivity.Recruit, hire, train, coach, and motivate store staff to improve their performance and skills.Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.Implement and enforce security measures to protect employees, customers, and store assets.Maintain accurate records, including sales reports and expense reports, and manage cash handling procedures.Performs any work requested by the direct manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in business, management, or a related field .+5 Years experience involves a blend of leadership, operational, and customer-facing skills. Skills:Both verbal and written, for interacting with staff, customers, and stakeholders.Guiding and motivating a team to meet and exceed targets.Training and developing employees to improve performance.Mediating disputes and resolving issues between staff or customers.Handling customer complaints, inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.Understanding and implementing sales techniques to drive revenue.Maintaining order and attention to detail in a store environment.Flexing to changing priorities and demands.
