Storekeeper

Role Overview:The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the store’s inventory and stockroom operations, ensuring accurate stock control, timely replenishment, and proper handling and organization of products. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to brand’s retail standards.The ideal candidate will have experience in retail stock management, preferably within luxury, premium fashion, jewelry, beauty, or a similar fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the store stockroom, ensuring products are properly received, organized, stored, and maintained.Receive and verify incoming stock against delivery documents, purchase orders, and system records.Conduct accurate stock receiving, transfers, returns, and other inventory transactions in the relevant system.Ensure all products are properly tagged, stored, and organized according to company standards.Maintain accurate inventory records and immediately report any discrepancies, damages, shortages, or excess stock.Support daily replenishment of the sales floor to ensure products are available according to business requirements.Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in scheduled full stock counts and inventory audits.Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate with the Store Manager and Operations/Inventory teams to resolve issues.Prepare products for internal transfers, customer orders, returns, repairs, and other stock movements as required.Ensure stockroom organization, cleanliness, security, and efficient utilization of available space.Follow all company procedures relating to inventory control, stock handling, loss prevention, and security.Maintain proper documentation for all stock movements and ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.Support the retail team during high-volume periods, launches, promotions, and special events.Coordinate closely with the Store Manager, Sales Associates, Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations, and logistics teams.Handle products with the highest level of care, particularly jewelry and other high-value merchandise.Ensure compliance with company policies and health, safety, and security requirements.Perform other stock and store-related duties as assigned by management.Requirements2–4 years of experience in a stockkeeping, inventory, warehouse, or retail stock role.Previous experience in premium/luxury retail, jewelry, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands is plus.Strong inventory management and stock-control skills.Good understanding of stock receiving, transfers, replenishment, returns, and inventory counting.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple stock-related priorities.Good communication and teamwork skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.Basic to good proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Experience with retail inventory/POS systems is an advantage.Ability to handle confidential and high-value merchandise responsibly.Good command of English; Arabic or other languages would be an advantage.Key CompetenciesInventory AccuracyAttention to DetailOrganization & PlanningStock ControlAccountabilityTeamwork & CollaborationTime ManagementProblem SolvingLoss Prevention AwarenessCustomer & Brand OrientationSuccess MeasuresHigh level of inventory accuracy.Timely and accurate processing of all stock movements.Minimal stock discrepancies and losses.Efficient stockroom organization and replenishment.Compliance with inventory and loss-prevention procedures.Effective support to the store team and smooth daily retail operations.
