Operating across multiple markets, we are committed to transforming waste into value while safeguarding the environment, supporting our communities, and driving operational excellence.OverviewWe are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support efficient warehouse and inventory operations. The role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and tracking materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting stock replenishment, and ensuring all warehouse activities comply with established HSE and operational procedures.Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day receiving, storage, issuing and movement of materials within the warehouse.Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation, ensuring quantity, quality and specifications are correct.Maintain accurate and timely inventory records within the inventory management system.Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory against system records.Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment and appropriate reorder levels.Help identify and minimise obsolete, redundant and slow-moving inventory.Coordinate the delivery and movement of materials between warehouses and operational sites.Prepare and maintain accurate inventory, ageing and stock-related reports.Ensure materials are appropriately labelled, organised and stored to support efficient warehouse operations.Maintain compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and warehouse procedures.Identify and report inventory, operational and safety risks within the area of responsibility.QualificationsHigh school diploma or aboveBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Finance or relevant field (advantageous)Experience Minimum of 3 years’ in a similar roleKnowledgeAutomated inventory control procedures, forecasting techniques, data analysis, purchasing procedures, record keeping practices as well as receiving, shipping and storage practicesStrong numerical and data analysis skillsFamiliarity with inventory management software is advantageous (e.g. Oracle or SAP)Track record of inventory control forecasting techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTechnical CompetencyMS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint – Intermediate levelDistribution and warehouse knowledgeIf you think you have what it takes to make the world a cleaner place, if you can see value where others see waste and if you aren’t afraid of a challenge, why not start your journey with us today.Averda welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, actively promotes diversity in the workforce, and is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED*
