Strategic Account Director

You understand the pressures facing industrial operations and how the right advice can make a lasting difference. You’re comfortable asking questions, listening closely and working with others to turn complex challenges into practical improvements.As a Strategic Account Director, you’ll work with oil and gas customers to improve equipment reliability, increase uptime and make better-informed maintenance and investment decisions. No wonder they have a loyal, longstanding team.What will your day to day look like?You’ll build a detailed understanding of your customers’ operations, working closely with their teams and your internal colleagues to identify where reliability improvements can deliver the greatest value. Your focus will be on developing trusted partnerships and helping customers achieve meaningful results.You will also be:Working with operational leaders, engineers and reliability specialists to understand their challenges, priorities and long-term objectives.Identifying opportunities to improve asset performance, reduce downtime, optimise spending and manage operational risk.Bringing together engineering, data and technology specialists to develop recommendations tailored to each customer.Building clear business cases that connect reliability improvements with measurable operational and financial outcomes.Helping customers prioritise initiatives and extend successful approaches across additional sites.Shaping project scopes, proposals and agreements in collaboration with customers and internal teams.Supporting effective project handovers, progress reviews and communication throughout each engagement.Monitoring customer feedback and results to ensure the work continues to deliver value.This role will suit you if you…Have at least seven years’ experience in industrial environments and understand the challenges facing complex operations.Can demonstrate how you’ve helped customers or stakeholders achieve measurable business improvements.Build trusted relationships with people across engineering, maintenance, operations and senior leadership.Are a strong team player who brings colleagues together, shares knowledge and values different perspectives.Take a curious, consultative approach, asking thoughtful questions and listening carefully before recommending a solution.Can explain complex technical concepts clearly and connect them to wider business priorities.Bring strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and confidence in presenting recommendations.Take ownership of commitments while working collaboratively to deliver results.Think this could be your next role?Then we’d love to hear from you!
