Strategic Planning & Execution ConsultantAbu Dhabi | Office based 9 Month Extendable Contract Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Planning & Execution Consultant to support the development, execution, and monitoring of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives for a leading Abu Dhabi-based organization.The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating organizational vision and objectives into actionable plans, ensuring effective execution through robust governance, performance management, and stakeholder engagement frameworks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, transformation experience, and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives within complex organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic PlanningSupport the development and refinement of corporate and departmental strategies. Facilitate strategic planning workshops with senior leadership and key stakeholders. Conduct market research, benchmarking, and environmental analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, programmes, and roadmaps. Ensure alignment of strategic plans with organizational priorities and long-term goals. Strategy Execution & DeliveryDrive the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives across the organization. Monitor progress against strategic objectives and key milestones. Identify and address barriers impacting strategy execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic priorities. Support the prioritization of initiatives and resource allocation decisions. Performance ManagementDevelop and maintain strategic performance management frameworks. Define and monitor KPIs, OKRs, and organizational performance metrics. Establish executive dashboards and performance reporting mechanisms. Analyze performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement. Track benefits realization and strategic outcomes. Governance & ReportingDesign and implement strategy governance frameworks. Support executive committees and governance forums through reporting and decision support. Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership. Ensure accountability and transparency in strategic execution processes. Stakeholder EngagementEngage senior executives, business leaders, and key stakeholders across the organization. Facilitate alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution. Build strong relationships to drive collaboration and execution excellence. Support change management and communication activities associated with strategic initiatives. Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to enhance strategic planning and execution capabilities. Introduce best practices in strategy management, performance measurement, and governance. Support organizational transformation and maturity improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Public Policy, Management, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, strategy execution, transformation, PMO, management consulting, or corporate planning. Proven experience developing and implementing strategic plans and performance frameworks. Strong experience in strategy execution, governance, and performance monitoring. Experience developing executive reports, dashboards, and board-level presentations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Strong communication and facilitation skills with executive-level stakeholders. Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience with Abu Dhabi Government or semi-government entities. Experience supporting corporate strategy, organizational transformation, or performance management offices. Consulting experience within a leading advisory or professional services environment. Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
