You'll have the freedom to influence supplier strategy, improve inventory planning and create sourcing roadmaps that will support ambitious growth for years to come.If you enjoy making a real impact, improving business performance and leading meaningful change, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.If you're ready to make a lasting impact and grow your career with an industry leader, we'd love to hear from you—apply today.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach and develop a team of three buyers and a data analyst.Build and implement a strategic sourcing model focused on total cost of ownership.Develop category strategies with one-, three-, and five-year sourcing roadmaps.Negotiate supplier agreements and secure favorable commercial terms.Build strong supplier relationships while maintaining multiple sourcing options.Partner with Product Management throughout the product lifecycle.Use data and analytics to improve forecasting, inventory planning, and product availability.Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, tariffs, and supply chain risks.Manage total landed costs across sourcing categories.Present sourcing opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and performance reporting to senior leadership.The CompanyOur client is a respected, debt-free industrial distributor serving more than 6,000 customers across 30+ industries, including transportation, aviation, aerospace, facilities maintenance, medical, military, marine, power generation, and heavy equipment.With more than 25,000 industrial MRO products and a nationwide network of mobile industrial hardware stores, the company has built its reputation on outstanding customer relationships, dependable service, and long-term stability.
