Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing Department: Strategic SourcingLocation: Gurgaon, IndiaRole Overview:We are seeking a Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing with strong experience to lead procurement, supply chain, and sourcing initiatives across a growing regional portfolio. The successful candidate will develop and implement market-focused sourcing strategies to deliver measurable financial and operational value, while ensuring full compliance with organizational procurement policies and processes.This role requires a hands-on, strategic professional with deep knowledge of the South Asia market, expertise in sourcing, logistics, and vendor management, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Drive the transformation of the Strategic Sourcing function, with a focus on cost optimization, sustainability, and innovation.Define and implement market-focused sourcing strategies across a broad range of goods and services.Analyze controllable spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, synergies, and leverage.Lead vendor selection, contracting, and performance management in line with procurement policies.Develop, track, and improve vendor KPIs to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Manage OS&E, FF&E, and CAPEX procurement, proactively resolving vendor and supply challenges.Oversee e-procurement and electronic tendering activities, including RFIs, RFPs, contracting, and approvals.Support pre-opening projects and ensure strategic vendor utilization across new properties.Build strong partnerships with business leaders to enhance value, quality, and service delivery.Develop deep supply base knowledge, build alliances with key vendors, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.Support global procurement platform rollouts and adoption of procurement technologies.Prepare and present procurement performance reports, metrics, and insights to stakeholders.Leadership & CollaborationCollaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders across international markets.Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to align objectives and monitor progress.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, value engineering, and innovation.Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with electronic tendering tools and e-procurement platforms.Proven ability to work within a global, international organization managing complex stakeholder relationships.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving optimal cost and contract outcomes.Ability to thrive and deliver results in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.Minimum Qualifications:Hospitality industry experience is good to have but not essentialBachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification in Supply Chain Management preferred (or willingness to obtain).Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management at a senior/strategic level.Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.Advanced MS Excel proficiency and ability to manage large datasets.Strong understanding of business and contract law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Strong understanding of South Asia markets and vendor ecosystems.
