Strategic Sourcing ManagerOverviewAn organisation is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across indirect procurement categories. This role is responsible for leading sourcing initiatives, negotiating supplier agreements, analysing spend, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvements and operational efficiencies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, including RFx processes, supplier selection, negotiations and contract execution.Develop and implement category sourcing strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Analyse spend data, supplier performance and market trends to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities.Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, risk and overall value.Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements to achieve favourable business outcomes.Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements and business priorities.Communicate sourcing project progress, supplier performance and savings initiatives to key stakeholders.Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, tools and best practices.Contribute to the implementation of procurement systems, training initiatives and process enhancements.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or category management.Experience leading competitive sourcing events and negotiating supplier contracts.Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis and supplier evaluation.Excellent project management and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience with ERP systems and e-sourcing platforms such as Ariba, Jaggaer or similar is advantageous.Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT for business productivity is beneficial.What's on OfferOpportunity to contribute to strategic procurement initiatives within a collaborative supply chain environment.Hybrid working arrangement with a predominantly office-based schedule.Exposure to cross-functional projects and supplier relationship management.Professional development and career growth opportunities.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
