Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager – GCC & South Africa

Location: Dubai, UAE (regional coverage across GCC and South Africa)Role SummaryWe're hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategy and vendor negotiations across the GCC and South Africa region for a leading hospitality organization (name confidential at this stage).

This is an individual contributor role reporting to a Director of Strategic Sourcing, working alongside a peer team of regional sourcing managers. The role requires hands-on, in-market experience — not remote or centralized oversight — and genuine negotiation depth across direct and indirect categories.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute market-focused sourcing strategies across the GCC and South Africa for goods, services, and CAPEX/OPEX categoriesLead supplier negotiations, RFPs/RFQs, and contract finalization across multiple countriesManage vendor selection, contracting, and performance in line with corporate procurement policyPartner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and legal stakeholdersSupport pre-opening and project mobilization activities where relevantDefine and track vendor KPIs, drive continuous improvement in sourcing processesWork confidently with incomplete or messy data to build sourcing recommendationsRequired Experience5+ years in a procurement or strategic sourcing role, with genuine multi-country hands-on exposure across GCC and/or South AfricaDemonstrated real negotiation and contracting experience — not policy-only or compliance-focused rolesComfort working as an individual contributor without a direct team, as part of a peer group of sourcing managersStrong Excel/data analysis skills; comfort working with large, incomplete, or unstructured data setsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fieldPreferredExperience in a franchise, licensee, or multi-brand operating environment (e.g., QSR, hospitality franchise networks, or similar structures involving independent local operators)Arabic and/or French language skillsSAP, Oracle, Coupa, or SAP Ariba experience
