Strategic Sourcing Manager - IT & Technology

Role is hybrid with circa 3 days per week in Charlotte officeElite Search are currently working exclusively with a rapidly growing global business who have an exciting opportunity within their Procurement team as part of their continued expansion.We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager with strong IT/Technology/Systems experience to work across multiple sectors and in a diverse range of spend areas. You will operate in a fast-paced role and be familiar in successfully managing and influencing senior stakeholders, with strong experience of savings delivery within a high spend environment.Any previous experience with AWS, ERPs, cloud platforms, Microsoft Dynamics, etc would be of particular interest.Key ResponsibilitiesInteract with key stakeholders and analyze data to create category management approaches that deliver against needs and expectations.Advise and agree on the procurement strategy for high spend categories.Deliver measurable savings through hands on category management including undertaking tenders, negotiations and auctions.Provide the enquiry, insight and creative thought needed to deliver a step change in supply chain performance.Use of leading-edge tools and processes and creative thinking to design solutions which deliver rapid cost savings and improvements in performance.Sourcing suppliers from the US and Worldwide to meet needs.Knowledge, Skills & QualificationsApprox 5+ years’ procurement experience in a major USA or international company.Strong track record of savings delivery within a high spend environment.Good negotiation skills and natural persuasion.Good understanding of supply chain and procurement practices.A successful track record in managing and influencing stakeholders.Positive and proactive attitude, confident in taking personal initiative.
